Websites
Designed around what your customers came to do, built by the same people who designed it.
Ritual designs and builds websites for established businesses, community organisations and creatives, from a studio in Nottingham. Strategy, structure, user journey and interface are designed together, then built on Webflow, Readymag or Figma and handed over working, with everything set up so you can run it yourself afterwards.
Because the design and the build happen in one studio, nothing gets lost in the handover between the people who drew it and the people who coded it.
Every site is written to be found. Page titles, descriptions, structured data, real HTML copy and clean, fast pages come as standard, not as an add-on, so the site works for search engines and AI answer engines as well as for people.
A website is usually the second half of a rebrand, and it is where the identity gets tested hardest. Web design is one half of the studio's full service; the other half is brand identity.
What's included
Site map, user journeys and page structure planned around what visitors came to do.
Layouts, type, colour and motion designed as part of the brand, not bolted on afterwards.
Hand drawn illustration, copywriting and imagery direction where the site needs it.
Built on Webflow with a CMS you can edit, or on Readymag and Figma when that fits better.
Titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap, crawlable copy and performance built in.
Domain, hosting, forms and analytics set up, with training and support after launch.
How it works
It starts with a conversation about what the site has to do for the business and for the people using it, then research into your sector, competitors and audience. Structure and journeys are agreed before any interface is drawn, so the design solves the right problem.
You see the work early, while it is easy to change. The chosen direction is designed page by page, built to match, tested on real devices and handed over with training, so you can update it without calling us, though we are here if you would like to.
