This policy explains what personal information Ritual Creative Studio Ltd collects through ritualcreative.studio, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Ritual Creative Studio Ltd is the data controller. You can reach us at lauren@ritualcreative.studio.
When you fill in a contact form we collect your name, email address and message, plus your phone number and company if you choose to give them. If you find all three trees and ask us to plant one, we collect the name or dedication you enter.
We also collect information about how the site is used, such as pages visited, device type and approximate location, through Google Analytics.
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to discuss and deliver a project, and to plant the tree you asked for. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. We use analytics data to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site.
We never sell your information, and we never add you to a mailing list without asking.
We use a small number of trusted services to run the site: Webflow, which hosts the site and receives form submissions; Google Analytics; Adobe Fonts, which serves our typefaces; and Cloudinary, which serves project videos. Some of these providers process data outside the UK under recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
We keep enquiries for up to two years after we were last in touch. Client project records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and legal purposes, normally six years.
Google Analytics sets cookies so it can tell visits apart. Webflow and Adobe Fonts may set technical cookies needed to deliver the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email lauren@ritualcreative.studio and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
