What we stand for
A studio takes up space in the world. We'd rather leave it better than we found it.
Our founder, Lauren Wild, is a designer working from Nottingham with established businesses, community groups and creatives across the UK. The studio is deliberately kept small because we want you to talk to the person directly doing the work.
The studio has been recognised for sustainable design, and over the past year for branding and web design. Lauren has guest lectured at the University of Oxford on branding and design practice, and currently runs Branding & Psychology Workshops at Social Masterclass.
One percent of the studio's revenue goes to vetted environmental non-profits through 1% For The Planet. Trees get planted through the Woodland Trust as projects complete, so what the studio makes is tied to actual woodland in the ground.
Closer to home, community groups and causes get budgeted in at the start of the year at reduced rates, and print and hosting are chosen to use less rather than to just look greener.
Design is a small industry with a large footprint. Every brand made here eventually gets printed, shipped, hosted and advertised. We can't control all of that, but we can control who gets our money and our hours, and what gets specified when the choice is ours.
